A little about me

Welcome! I'm Ariana, a.k.a Kitsch Hippie a passionate poet, product designer, and explorer of the intersections between creativity and technology.

Just as my journey with poetry began with a single captivating performance, my fascination with design ignited from a desire to interpret and express the world around me. Drawing came naturally to me at an early age, serving as a tool to interpret my imagination and explore the curiosities of my reality. I mostly enjoyed drawing portraits, as capturing a person's likeness felt like connecting with their identity. This attitude later translated to digital media and graphic design during high school, where I delved into the technical challenge of capturing expression with meticulous attention to detail.

My educational journey in graphic design, human-computer interaction, and UX/UI design has equipped me with the skills to blend creativity with technology seamlessly. From studying at various schools like Penn State and FSCJ to refining my craft at CalArts, I've embraced the opportunity to design for complex problems with user needs at the core.

In parallel, my passion for poetry has remained a constant source of inspiration. From classics like 'I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings' by Dr. Maya Angelou to 'Leaves of Grass' by Walt Whitman, poetry has shaped my perspective and poetic voice, exploring themes of identity, empowerment, and social justice.

Currently, I'm delving into the world of creative coding and 3D experiences while collaborating with innovative teams at WeFuel and Aphid Games. Just as poetry and design allow me to explore and express themes that resonate with others, I'm committed to creating immersive experiences that deeply connect with users on a profound level.

Join me as we embark on this exhilarating journey together! 🚀✨
